Copy Cat

(Never mind the food on his face and jammies-he still looks cute in my book)
Oh J, he is so funny! He is in the copy cat stage, has been for some time now. He loves to imitate us, repeat various words that we say and LOVES to make us laugh. He knows what gets us rolling and loves to keep making us laugh. Then, when we laugh he laughs hysterically! Also, when we go out to eat, he will put some food in his mouth and then will wipe both hands with is napkin and then will wipe his face after each bite-how funny is that?
More kisses for Bella, such love XOXO

Our latest rescue...

...meet BELLA! Although it is really soon, we adopted this beauty last weekend. We both had mixed feelings adopting her so soon after Shaddow passed, but it felt right and we are happy to take another homeless doggy out of the overpopulated shelters. We were amazed at how many homeless pets there are down here. Bella fits right in with us, she loves Jordan and he loves her. He loves to give her hugs and kisses and she loves to kiss him back-sometimes getting him right on the lips! Bella enjoys our de-furring tool too, it must feel like a massage. We should also mention that she is prolly around 100lbs. Talk about a ferocious guard dog! BTW, one of the neighbor boys thought we were walking a coyote...
WELCOME HOME BELLA!

The fountain of youth

I think I have found the fountain of youth! The other day I went to pick Jordan up from school and one of the teachers asked me if i was his sister. Ummm, what? I kindly said no, I am his mama!! Seriously, I don't look that young. But then, I was traveling and went to the worldclub (aka airport lounge) and was asked to see my ID to make sure i was over 21. Seriously? Now that hasn't happened in a while. Then, I was at another worldclub (clearly I travel too much!!) and I was told I look 15. Ok, I think that might be an exaggeration, don't you think? Ok people, that fountain of youth is PREGNANCY! Yes, Jordan is going to be a big brother! We are very excited, but what makes it even more exciting is that we are due on Ryan's birthday-August 12th. In case you are wondering, he is accepting presents so mark that one down on your calendar. This one has been extra challenging. I have been very sick so I am taking zofran, but that doesn't work half the time anymore anyway. This baby is also very hungry-ALL THE TIME. Guess he/she has gotsta eat! I don't mind that one, except the things I want to eat are really naughty. What's a girl to do.
We told the family on Christmas and swore everyone to secrecy. And I apologize to all the friends I have flat out lied to at various showers, dinners and gatherings in the last couple of months.
We wish Shaddow was here to share this with us. She was so protective of Jordan! But, we are excited to have Jordan to share this with this time. He will make an excellent big brother BTW, Jordan is really sharpening up his vocab skills. He is saying more and more words every day. Uh oh, juice, hi, mama, daddy, hi daddy, ball, brrrr, huh, more, baba, no no no (while waving his finger in the air) and the list goes on but I am drawing a blank. He also plays patacake really well, we love it when he rolls it up! So cute!
