Happy Halloweeny!
We could quite possibly have the cutest and fasted turtle in town! Jordan had a very fun halloweeny this year. It started with comfy jammy day at school, a Halloween party at daddy's work where he got to showcase his costume and then having fun with all the trick-or-treaters at night. We were surprised that J kept the head piece on during the entire party! He went through some spooky haunted cubicles and several others themed cubicles including super Mario brothers and the little mermaid. He loved it! He wasn't so sure about the Richard Simmons costume (not worn by either mommy or daddy)... Those shorts, the tank, the hair...all very spooky if you ask me! All in all, it was a great day. J made some new friends and everyone thinks he is one smart cookie! They love that when you ask him how old he is, he raises his 1 pointer finger to tell them "I am 1, silly!!"

The big shebang
We spent this past weekend in Mpls celebrating Jordan's big first birthday party! Man it is cold up there! Jordan did an excellent job on the plane both ways. We enjoyed seeing our family and friends. Thank you to all who were able to come to his party, we really appreciate your kindness and generosity. J is a little shy and was freaked out by the whole thing, but we only experienced minor meltdowns-thank goodness! He had fun playing with all the kiddos that were there that is for sure!! He really only wanted mommy and daddy to hold him, except for auntie Meggan. She was the only one that he would let hold him at first. Do you think he can tell us apart? Yes, he definitely can tell us apart, they just have a special bond. J also liked to "beep" G-pa H's nose. Hilarious! Thank you to G-ma and G-pa Herrmann for hosting everything this past weekend! It was hard to come back home, but it got easier when we realized that it was in the 70s down here and gas is only 2.16 a gallon. Nice!
Before we left for the airport, Jordan was very interested in turning the tub faucet on and off
At the airport... The best invention ever for traveling with a toddler car seat!
Look at that mommy!

Tricks
So, Jordan has a few tricks up his sleeves that we finally got pictures of. Also, he is so excited to be a big boy sitting face forward in the car, he loves to look out the window at the scenery-he kicks his little legs and claps his hands. It is way too cute for words!
High 5 lil buddy! J loves to give high 5, 10, 15...he learned this a while back and took a hiatus from showing this skill off. He is back at it now and gets so excited!
How big are you?? SO BIG! He loves it when we ask him how big he is, he knows that he is SO BIG now that he is 1!
How old are you? 1!!!

Holy Moly, J is 1!!!
Thanks for the best year ever Jordan-we love you so much we just want to squeeze you!
Size photos? I think not ma, I am 1 now and way too old for that stuff. I'm practically a grown up!
Thumbs up for MY day
PRESENTS!!!!!!! People must like me because I got some really cool stuff! I like all of my new toys so much that I was upset with mommy and daddy when they said it was time to go out to eat.
Nothing to do with his bday, but here we are with my favorite author-Nicholas Sparks. Hello...The Notebook anyone?? Love that movie!
Again, nothing to do with the bday, but we went to a neighborhood block party this weekend and J is hamming it up! He likes to point at us and give us the BIGGEST smile
