LOVES his books

Right now one of Jordan's favorite things to do is read his books. He gets SO excited when we pull his books out and even more excited when we open them to read. He does a cute little dance and likes to help turn the pages. Good thing we have our own little library for him! One day he'll be reading these to us, now that will be fun! We read a lot of books this weekend since daddy was away in Vegas-golfing and gambling away J's college fund-HA!
Check out those teeth! They are shiny. I hope they don't chomp on my fingy!
Story time, cha cha cha! I am doing my dance for mommy and Shaddow
Another thing I love to do is walk around the outside of my exersaucer and play with all the toys on it. I like to push the top of this apple down because it always pops back up! I also like to spin the seat around and around and around

I think mommy let Shaddow out, I better check to see if she wants back in. I love to look out the windows and play with the blinds.

Cracking us up!

Jordan has really been cracking us up lately. He is so busy-I am exhausted just thinking about it! He really enjoys exploring the house-he goes everywhere. If one of us leaves the room for a second, he follows and it doesn't matter where we go, he just wants to see what is going on. He follows us to the garage, the kitchen, the bathroom, the office-anywhere!
He has to pull himself up onto anything and everything. When I say everything, I mean everything!! To name a few....all of the couches (front and back), all of the tables, the exersaucer (the outside of it), the pack & play (inside and outside), our bed, any of the walls, the stairs, his toys, his walking toys, his play gyms, any of the cabinets, the refrigerator, any of the bathtubs, any of the turlets (don't worry, they are very clean), chairs, the pool table, any of the doors, the pillars, the artificial trees (mommy cannot keep real ones alive for the life of her), the railing in the upstairs hallway, the bar, mommy, daddy, Shaddow, the workout equipment, his toy box, etc etc etc. For some reason we think it is funny and it makes us laugh! Thanks for the fun memories J, we love you so much it hurts! Also, Shaddow and Jordan have a game they play. Jordan chases Shaddow and she tries to get away from him, but yet she doesn't want to be too far away. They really like to play this game up by the pool table. Shaddow will go around the pool table and Jordan has found the shortcut and cuts underneath to get her. Then, Shaddow will give him kisses and he laughs and laughs!
Are you gonna get up yet mommy? I want to play! (How can you not fall in love with that face?? So innocent and cute...)
I love to walk!
Is there anything good in here to eat? I like ice cream
let me out!! I love this door in mommy and daddy's room. My fingy prints are all over it!
Shaddow got me!

11 months old

O-M-G. Could he really be 11 months old? I say this every month, but it is going way too fast! I would say Jordan has enjoyed crawling this month. I can hear his lil tiny hands smacking the hardwood floor as he moves about. He also makes his excited noises every step he takes! He loves to pull himself up to standing and has finally figured out how to get back down, then back up, then down, etc etc etc. Another favorite thing is he loves to read-well, he loves when we read to him. He gets so excited and dances a little bit! He picks up his books on his own and flips through the pages and reads to himself too. The book is always upside down for him, it is too cute! He has 2 teeth now-both on the bottom. He loves to smack his lips, his tongue, do the motor boat, talks and talks, chases Shaddow, gives kisses and hugs, gets sick and gives it to mommy and daddy, he shakes his head for "no" when he doesn't want anymore food and so on and so forth. He also stayed with his first non-family babysitter this weekend so we could go to a charity event. He did an excellent job and we had a nice time. Soul Asylum played a concert, so that was fun! Runaway train never coming back...la la la Man, we are OLD!
Uncle D, I am ready for that dirt bike! Mommy and daddy won this (among many other things-YIPES!) during the silent auction
Oh mommy, daddy dressed me again today. This time he put my shorts on my head. Can you please have a talk with him?
One of my favorite things to do-STAND. You talkin to me? I am dancing while mommy and daddy sing to me! Yup, I have the rhythm
Ma, you woke me up for this? It's not even 8:00 yet! I am not ready to be up.
Seriously stop. This is embarrassing. I am practically nude!

Lightning McQueen

Jordan really has mastered his crawling skills. He is all over the place! he loves to crawl up the steps-especially the steps by the bar. He must be thirsty! It is getting more and more difficult to take good pictures of him. As soon as the pictures takes, he either moves his head or is on the move. He has been sick a lot lately, but nothing phases him. As long as he is crawling and playing, he is happy as can be. One of his favorite things to do is pull himself up to standing on the fireplace. There are some candles on there that he loves to play with too. Seriously, i turn around for one second and all of a sudden I hear the clink clank of the glass. He is so fast! Shaddow is not sure about J's crawling skills. He is always going after her and she just wants peace and quiet. Sorry S, we love you but you better get used to this! Just wait until he is walking, then you better watch out girl!

J also started his new school last week. I was hesitant for the change, but we really liked this new place. After his first week, we knew we made the right choice. He is eating WAY more at the new place-thank goodness because his lack of eating (3oz of his bottle all day long) at his old school was a major concern for us. No matter how many times we talked to his old teachers, it seemed nothing had changed. Plus, his new school follows a curriculum and will teach him baby sign. Maybe we have a future Harvard grad on our hands? You never know!

Good thing these aren't lit!
I'm gonna get you Shaddow!
Peace out! I love to flash and wave the peace sign.

End of summer

Even though we did not get to go to the MN state fair and that it is going to be HOT here until December, we had a very nice Labor Day weekend. What better way to celebrate than a visit from family! Grampa Harrington came and it was a lot of fun. j did not show any anxiety which was great! J also liked to show off his crawling skills-he is all over the place!! He really loves to pull himself up onto the couch and the walls.
Thanks for coming Grampa PH, we look forward to seeing you in October. So Sweet!
Daddy kindly reminded mommy that I am lactose intolerant. But, this sure was nummy and I could not get enough!
J went to his first foosball game and he was not having it! Luckily we sat in the inside club, but it was still too loud for our lil turtle. GO HOGS! People here in AR are crazy for the razorbacks!!
