Ok, is this what happens in AR? You grow a mullet? No, this stupid mullet wig has shown up again. Ryan wore this for Halloween one year and I always throw it away and somehow it shows up in a box somewhere. It has a mind of its own! It is a mullet after all-business in the front, party in the back. Oh grampyo, you are funny, but that wig is HIDEOUS!

We have visitors!

G-ma and G-pa Herrmann have come to visit! Jordan and Shaddow are loving it. Jordan has been laughing so hard ever since they came on Sunday and Shaddow has been dancing around. We have been keeping busy and having fun. This week is going to go way too fast! Thanks for coming to visit, we really appreciate it!

Anniversary

4.24.04: 4 years ago today, we were married on the beach in Hawaii surrounded by family and friends. It was funny because the spam festival (spam is huge in Hawaii) was going on this day resulting in a lot of closed roads and tons of traffic. I won't name any names, but some very important family members were stuck in this traffic and I was told that the wedding needed to go on without them because the minister performing the ceremony had another wedding to be at. WHAT?? Who says that?? Our wedding planner was the one who said this and he wasn't even there, he told me this over the phone from New England. What a puts! All of a sudden, Ryan disappears. After all, how can a wedding go on without the groom? He returned once the very important family members arrived. We had a very lovely ceremony and a very happy 4 years every since. At the time of our wedding, neither of us had ever been to Hawaii. We loved it so much, we have been going back every year since. We can't wait to bring Jordan with us next time! We hope that he loves it there as much as we do.

Back to school!

Well, Jordan went back to school today! He is starting to have separation anxiety whenever I leave the room so he cried when we left him with his new teacher this morning. I miss my lil punkin and can't wait to pick him up this afternoon! He is going to meet some new friends today and I can't wait to hear all about it. I don't know about this school thing
Maybe if I fall asleep in the car, they won't drop me off
By the way, did you notice how big he is getting? This is a picture of him having his car seat test at the hospital 2 days after he was born. He almost needs a bigger car seat now. Nice work peanut!

Jordan has been so funny lately. he does things to get our attention. The thing he has been doing lately is if he is sitting on my lap, he will quickly look at me, smile and then look away, then look at me, smile, then look away-over and over again. So silly! He also received these cute jammies as a gift and the feeties look like teddy bear faces. He loves to look at his tooties when he wears these jammies and he'll moves his tooties around. Funny!

6 Months Old

Holy cow, our bud-a-kins is 6 months old today! Another month has flown by. These past 6 months have been so much fun! Jordan has had so many "firsts" and we can't wait to experience more in the months to come. It is hard to believe he was born 5 weeks early. To top it off, he is so cute that I just want to squeeze him! We love you Jordan! Are you scared dough boy?

Batter up

We took our little butterball to his first baseball game this weekend! Arkansas has a minor league team in a brand new stadium. We got to watch in a suite which was nice because it was so windy outside. Jordan had fun at first, but then decided that it was time to leave-he had enough. Mommy washed his hands and he did not like that one bit. We had fun anyway. My favorite part was that the bat boy for the team was a golden retriever! He/she would run out and get the bats and then they would throw frisbees to him/her in the outfield. That puppy was the star of the show that is for sure!

Not much new is going on with us. Ryan went golfing this weekend, it was so sunny,warm and nice! Jordan is loving to laugh and smile, he loves to check out his fingers. He has found that they are interesting for some time now. They are neat how they move around and grab onto things. We hope everyone had a nice weekend!

So, the ink has barely dried on our closing documents and the boxes have not all been unpacked and we find out we are moving again. Huh? Are you kidding me? Ryan has received an international opportunity with work. So, we will move to Canadia in a month. And just when we thought we were escaping the snow...
