Eureka Springs
This weekend we went to Eureka Springs in the Ozarks for a little site seeing. It looked like it was about to rain all day, so we didn't get very good pictures. Jordan slept the entire time, so he didn't see everything. It was really nice to see what else is around here, it actually is really pretty!
Ha, I got you froggy!
I thought the mountains were much more hilly than this. You can't tell from the picture, but it is really pretty

Business as usual
We are getting settled into our new neighborhood, but still have boxes to unpack. I still don't know my way around the neighborhood and have to ask the security guy at the front gate for directions to our house. I will figure it out one of these days! Jordan is no longer stressed out and has been having fun at home with mommy. I don't know who is having more fun, me or him! He loves to hang out outside and have the breeze blow on his face. He gets excited to see Shaddow running in the backyard.
One of our neighbors stopped over yesterday and dropped off a nice plant. That was nice! I was happy that she did not ask if my parents were home when she came to the front door-which, mind you, has happened on many occasions. The last time it happened was about a month ago in MN when the cable guy came over to fix our Internet. He asked if my parents were home. I kindly said, I am not sure, do you want me to call them to find out?
Back to business as usual-diaper duty, eating, playing, tummy time, swinging, etc etc etc. I think we will take a walk soon, it is so nice outside! We think Jordan is having a growth spurt because he is starvin marvin all the time. Way to go our little growing man!
Tummy surf time!
Time for a walk! Daddy thinks mommy is funny when she puts my shades on
The golf course
LOVE this spinny thing
This picture cracks mommy up! I am laughing and having so much fun!!!
The nice plant from the new neighbor. Our home builder loves the faux painting on the walls in a couple rooms and used it as a selling point. Funny! He also faux painted the garage door, it actually looks nice.

On vacation
I am officially on vacation for a while! I took a Leave of absence from work so I can spend more time with Jordan and Shaddow. Also, we don't have daycare (school) down here and we want to make sure we find the right place for Jordan. In the meantime, we will have lots of fun together playing! I will enjoy not having to catch a flight every week, but enjoyed the upgrades to first class and guaranteed seats on any flight-even if it is oversold. I apologize if I ever took any of your seats on any flight...which i have done on many occasions flying stand-by. oopsy!
Mommy is so funny! I have been laughing at her all day

SOO much fun! I love to laugh!

Happy Easter
Our first holiday in AR was lovely! We spent it unpacking and organizing the house. Jordan had fun playing in his exersaucer from Auntie Meggan and uncle Mike. He loves it! He has been playing in one at school for some time now and has so much fun in it. There is so much to look at! He also enjoyed a big boy meal of rice cereal. Delish! We missed our families today and hope everyone had a nice day.
This is fun
Hey, what is over here?
So much to do, so much to do
I am having fun
This is my favorite spinny thing

Delish!
Shaddow loves her new backyard. No, our grass is not dead, it is dormant in the winter.

We miss you grampyo
Grampyo went home today and we miss him a lot! We don't know how to thank him for all that he has done to help us. Thank you very much, we really appreciate it!
Yes, that is right, it is NOT snowing here! Sorry Mpls folks, we hear you are getting dumped on with snow!
I love my grampyo
The Easter Bunny came early and dropped this bag off in grampyo's suitcase! Although, I like to stare at my paci that I am holding. It sure is interesting.
My first Easter started early! Thank you Easter Bunny
I got this chicken from Ryan, Becky and Ryder and he sings and dances the "chicken dance" which is uncle Ryan's favorite!
Give me a hug chicky! Thank you, I love my chicky.
Gramma J gave me a fun toy too and it kept me entertained on the car ride down here.
Happy....
......Birthday Gramma Judy! We hope that you have a good day and wish we were there to celebrate!
Hey, I found the remote!

It's like Christmas!
I guess you never realize how much stuff you have until it is all packed up and you start to unpack it. It is a lot of work! I prolly should have taken this week off of work-good thing my dad is still here. I just extended his trip so he can stay longer, I hope he doesn't mind...
Where's Jordan?
There he is!! I knew he was here somewhere!
For some reason Shaddow loves this tarp the mover left behind.
Grampyo is fun! I have a kung fu grip on his hair

We're in our new home!
We survived the drive down to AR! Jordan did an excellent job the entire way. He prolly never wants to see his carseat again and only had a few cranky moments on the ride. Ryan was still sick with the flu, but Jordan and i were on the mend. Thank goodness my dad (grampyo) drove down with us. We owe him BIG time!! Both Jordan and Shaddow spent their first night in a hotel too last night. Shaddow could do without the elevator ride though-she is terrified of the thing! We can't wait to get settled into our new home and meet some of our new neighbors. Now, if only I could find my way around the neighborhood.....
Jordan getting ready to spend the night in the hotel for the very first time.
Shaddow hated the elevator at the hotel so we had to walk down the stairs.
Jordan and grampyo overwhelemed with all the darn boxes
Finally! The last item is being removed from the truck. Thank goodness for daylight savings!
My snuggle bunny trying to make sense of everything. He just wanted to be snuggled and be close to where the action was. Let's just say, he was a little stressed out and extremely tired...
That truck is a little bit bigger than dough boy and teddy, huh Jordan?
Good bye truck!
Guess we better start unpacking

Jordan is 5 months old today!
Jordan has another month under his belt. Things keep getting better and more fun. He is so responsive now and really likes to grab and hold onto things. He grabbed his favorite orange elephant at school this month and was so proud of himself. He LOVES to grab my hoodie strings and my hair when I hold him. He loves to laugh and is very ticklish! He was laughing so hard the other night and squealing in excitement-it is so fun to watch. Jordan is working on some teeth too, he loves to chew on his fingers and blows bubbles. He is so close to rolling over, but he has been very sick this week with some kind of bug that we stopped trying to get him to do anything except for relaxing. In fact, all of us were sick with the flu this past weekend. Jordan now has a bad cold all over again. Gotta love the "things" he brings home from school! Thank you Jordan for another great month! We can't wait to see what this next month may bring!
Dough boy, I got you beat!
Yeah, I am laughing at you Teddy
Here i am on my 3 month bday. I look tall here, but am much taller now
You stay over there Teddy. This is me on my 3 month bday
We had to celebrate my 5 month bday at gramyo and grampyo's house since we were homeless for a couple of days
Uncle Ryan gave me a taste of my cake and I loved every minute of it! Too bad I had the flu and am about to let everyone know how icky i feel.

This house is clear
After the movers packed us for 2 days and spent 1 day moving all of our belongings into a moving van, our house is now empty. This is now our FIFTH big move that we are doing and they never get easy. This time is a little more challenging with a baby in tow. Shaddow has been through every move with us , except for our first move since we adopted her then, so she is an old pro and is helping Jordan along the way. We are sad to leave Mpls (again), but we know we will be back soon.
I hope we didn't leave anything behind!
Now that is a big truck-all of our belongings are all loaded into that beast
